By use of the binary coefficient representation, a (0,1)-matrix of m×2 m is constructed. On the basis of the row vectors of this matrix, a binary linear code named C is further constructed. The effects of various factors, such as length dimensions, treatment condition, has also been investigated. The proposed function is compared with some experiment data and the Weibull distribution function. it is shown that the S distribution provides good fit to the strength data in different conditions and provides more correctly estimate to the strength of a short or long fibre than the Weibull distribution function, therefore, it has quite wide applicability.?
