Cross-correlation is a technique for relating data recorded at one point in a system with data recorded at another point in the same system at slightly earlier or later points in time. The aim of the present investigation is to find a means in which the correlation analysis technique can be applied to the study of afferent impulses in intact nerves during acupuncture.The apparatus used in this work consisted of an audio-frequency and subaudiofrequency polarity correlator constructed by the Shanghai Radio Institute in collaboration with the Shanghai Normal University. In order to meet the needs of the present experiments we revised some of its original logics and supplemented it with an additional circuit with 60 parallel analogue output units. The correlogram obtained (called semi-coincidence-gram in this paper) showed peaks indicating activity in the Aα, Aδ, and C fibres from the sural nerve during acupuncture in the Kun-Lun point. The result, however, was not so clear-cut in the muscle nerve. With the massive activity from the stretch receptors as a changing background, the difference in the amount of afferent impulses from Group Ⅰ and Ⅱ fibres before and during acupunoture in the Tsu-San-Li point could not be definitely made out, although the pattern of discharges from individual stretch receptors was changed, and many pressure receptors were surely activated. The peaks of activity from Group Ⅲ and C fibres were not discernible probably owing to the low signal to noise ratio in the system.

使用一台声频、次声频极性相关仪,分析针刺时神经干的传入活动,根据实验需要对其逻辑进行了一些修改,增加了60路并联模拟输出单元,数据系联机处理。实验结果表明,在相当于人体的昆仑穴针刺,用求单符合图的方法可将腓肠神经的传入冲动按其速度分成三个成分,分别代表Aα、Aδ及C类纤维的活动,Aα又可进一步分成几个小成分。肌肉神经中由于有活跃的牵张感受器的活动,Ⅰ、Ⅱ两类纤维活动的总量在针刺足三里穴时和不给刺激时相比没有明显的变化,仅是参加活动的感受器与原来活动的传入纤维发放冲动的型式发生了改变。细纤维的活动由于信噪比的限制未能显示。

Twinty-nine rabbits were used.The spindle,tendon organ,light and hea-vy pressure receptors in medial gastrocnemius muscle were identified by reco-rding discharges of single afferent fiber in medial gastrocne mius nerve fromfine filaments by dissection.The discharge patterns of the receptors respon-ding to the manipulations,i.c.lift and thrunst,twist and twirl,rotate,scra-pe flick the needle and finger-pressure were observed.Data at 85 units werecollected totally.Every type of deep receptor can react to any manipulation.The dischargepatterns of different receptors were alike when stimulated with same manipu-lation,but there were different patterns while varying manipulations actingon the same receptor.These are due to the movement forms,the force amo-unt,the time duration of the manipulations.All these facts are nearly thesame as in cutaneous receptors.Acupuncture effect on deep receptors was not limited to one point butwithin a certain area,namely distant effect existed.The area size variedfrom receptor to receptor and from manipulation to manipulation.Because of the distant effect on receptors by acupuncture,and the loseof responsibility in units when receptor destroyed,we suggest that effectiveacupuncture stimulation is induced mainly due to the receptor deformation,whichis caused by the stress from pressure,stretch and vibration of acupuncture.In view of the needling sensation is closely related to the curativeeffects,the receptors dealing with needling sensation are analysed according tothis series works and other facts,we further advance the opinion that the re-ceptors of deep pain are the chief material foundation to induce the sensationof hand needling.

The percentage of reduction in Bp comparedwith its relative control was 28. 24. 27. 23 and 24, re`prctively. A considerable fall in Bp was detectedduring recording MAP after the transduction of local mech - pressure receptors in both vcntricles, thedepress renex mediated by vagi and the sympathetic neurohumoral effect on the cardiovasa were removed. It is concluded that normal contraction and relaxation of the heart caused by the force of thecontact electrode on the rnyocardium is the main factor which results in the change in hemodynamics.The depress reflex mediated by vagi is the secondary factor in the course of recording MAP.

12只家兔用于记录心肌单相动作电位(MAP)对血流动力学影响的机理分析.在开胸去心包、心室外膜用1%procaine局麻、去双侧减压神经、去双侧颈迷走神经、心得安和立其丁各0.5mg.kg-1i.v.后,记录MAP时血压降低中心静脉压升高.血压降低与相应对照的百分比分别为28%、21%、27%、23%和24%.在去除心室内局部机械压力感受器的换能作用和由迷走神经传递的降压冲动以及交感性神经激素对心血管的影响之后,记录心外股MAP仍出现显著的血压降低。提示记录MAP时血流动力学改变的机理,主要是电极作用力影响了心脏正常的好缩功能.致心收缩力降低,心输出量减少,血压降低和中心静脉压升高.
