Some physiological functions of the divers were observed during simulated He-O_2 satu- ration diving experiment at depth of 302m,the results were as follows: 1.There were two types of modifications of electroencephalograph after arriving at maximum depth:increase in theta or even in delta activity in all regions,decrease of alpha rhythms with decrease of its amplitude.At 302m the index of theta rhythm was increased, the index of alpha waves was decreased. 2.During the compression from surface to 150m the tremor presented no significant modification in subject A.But the amplitude of the tremor showed significant increase in subjects B and C.The maximum amplitude changes for the tremor were observed to occur on this condition in subjects B and C. 3.In all cases a decline in heart rate was observed upon compression to saturation depth.The changes of ST-T wave of divers were not obvious,of all three divers there was no obvious lowering of S-T segment in the electrocardiograms at any depth~ neither was the T wave inverted,diphasic or flat on the standard and chest leads with R wave as the main.At depth of 302m there were no sings of abnormal changes in S-T segment and T wave even with physical loading. 4.The results of measurement of ventilatory parameters were as follows:After the subj- ects had arrived at depth of 302m from surface,the lung volume showed little changes.But the timed vital capacity,maximum voluntary ventilation and maximum respiratory flow decreased significantly with the obvious increase of the respiratory airway resistance.

A detailed comparison and a general assessment of the techaical specifications and cost-effectiveness of saturation diving system (SDS) , one-atmosphere underwater suit (ADS) and remotely-contro lled vehicle (ROV) are presented. The specifications for technical assessment include maximum depth of operation, efficiency of operation and safety of personnel. The initial cost and the cost for daily operation are taken as the criteria for economical assessment. Theresults of assessments are: 1) maximum depth of operation: ROV ranks the first,ADS the second and SDS the last. 2) efficiency of operation. SDS is the best, ADS the second and ROV the last. 3) safety of personnel: ROV the most excellent, ADS the second and SDS the worst. 4) operation cost: SDS is the most expensive, ROV ranks the second and ADS the last. On the basis of the assessment, the general criteria for the selection of systems for underwater operation are given and recommendations on the development of underwater operation systems are made. For reference purposes, three appendixes on the progress of SDS, ADS and ROV are provided.

本文根据国内外调研资料,对饱和潜水系统(SDS)单人常压可潜器(ADS)和无人遥控可潜器(ROV)的技术和经济性能作了较为祥尽的对比分析及综合评定。本评定选用最大可用作业深度、作业功效和人身安全性作为技术评定指标,选择初始投资和日常营运费作为经济评定指标。评定结果表明:(1)最大可作业深度:ROV最大,ADS次之,SDS最小;(2)作业功效:SDS最佳,ADS次之,ROV较差;(3)人身安全性:ROV绝对可靠,ADS较佳,SDS最差;(4)作业成本:SDS最高,ROV次之,ADS最廉。本文在评定的基础上,提出了系统一般选择原则和我国开展水下作业系统研制工作的原则建议。文中附有SDS和ADS及ROV有关进展三个附录,以供读者查考。

A medical study on diving physiology using saturation diving technique with tri- ple compound gas of Helium-Nitrogen-Oxygen was also conducted. A series of devices such as diving respirator, diving heating suit, hot wa- ter system, underwater hydraulic tool, automatic control system for chamber pressure and oxygen pressure, retrieving and purification sys- tem for helium and helium-oxygen communicator was tested at 300m depth as well. Some of these experiments were done without precedent in China. This experiment is quite important for marine exploration, deep sea rescue, harbour construction, marine scientific expedition and military activity is China.

本实验是海洋水下工程领域内一次多学科的综合性科学研究。实验检验了300m海底模拟加压舱群设备,使用氦氮氧三元混合气饱和潜水技术进行潜水生理学和医学研究,并进行了潜水呼吸器、潜水加热服及热水系统、水下液压工具、舱压和氧分压自动控制设备、潜水用氦气回收及净化装置、氦氧通讯机等多种项目的300m试验,填补国内多项空白。这对于我国海洋资源的勘探开发、深海打捞、港口建设、海洋科学考察和国防建设都有重大意义。
