Radioimmunoassay (RIA), solid-phase immunoradiometric assay (IRMA) and solid-phase enzyme immunoassay (EIA) were designed to measure the concentrations of hCG and LH. The sensitivities of hCG and LH assay kits were determined to be 3mIU/ml and 2mIU/ml respectively. The LH surge for women with normal menstrual cycles could be detected easily from urine specimens by a 30 minute procedure. In order to minimize the cross reaction to other competing hormones, LH 139 was added to the hCG immunoassay kit and hCG β-4D6 to the LH assay kit. As a result of this formulation, hCG and LH can be assayed in different kits with very little mutual cross reaction.

The average P.R of the crossing combination of 15 pairs of C × J and 10 pairs of C × C was 7.9023 and -0.2180 respectively. The fluorine - resistant heredity showed partial dominance. The value of V. R. had positive correlation siganificantly with the resistance of F1 generation, and negative correlation with the average of the parents. Four varieties, namely Xinjiu, 683,Dong34 and 7532. revealed comparatively higher general combining ability, therefore, possessed higher utility in breeding. The effect of the specific combining ability suggested that there was a complementary relation between the genes of the fluorine resistance and the cocoon shell weight. The higher specific combining ability of the combination, the higher resistance of the hybrids. However, there was no inevitable relation between the fluorine - resistant ability and the general combining ability of the parents.

Light was a major factor conditioning the expression of resistance, as demonstrated by the fact that decreasing light duration or light intensity caused tesistance reduction or loss.3. Temperature and light markedly influenced nonpreference. There were highly significant differences of nonpreference among the plants of the same var ety grown for different light durations, under different light intensities, and at differ t temperntures. The level of nonpreference decreased with the decrease of temperature, light duration, or light intensity. A mutual cross-reaction relationship between duration and it tensity of light for nonprefer-ence was demonstrated.4. At the temperatures of 24-30℃, the critical value of both resistance and nonpreference was 10 and 14 hours respectively for 7000 and 5000 Lux of light intensity.

在24~30℃温度范围内,品种抗性在不同光照时数阳光强度的影响下存有极显著的差异。弱、短光照会使品种的抗性减弱甚至丧失。 光温对抗虫机制的影响,首先表现在品种的非嗜好性方面,其中光照时数对非嗜好性有极显著影响,温度和光强度也育显著的影响,30℃比24℃表现的非嗜好性较强。光照时数和光强度对非嗜好性有显著的交互作用。
