本文就黄柳(Salix,flivida Chang et Skv.)差巴戛蒿(Artemisia halode-ndron Turcz.)胡枝子(Lspedeza bicolor Turcz.)锦鸡儿(Caraganamicrophylla Lam.)山竹子(Hedysarum mongolicum Turcz.)等植物固沙后对沙土的影响进行了调查研究。认为:流沙经植物固定后,由于风速降低、风蚀减弱,沙面有大量枯落物堆积,其中以黄柳固沙区最多(3.5—3.9t/ha),差巴戛蒿等固沙区最少(0.31t/ha)。沙土表层机械组成变细,粉沙以下部分增加,容重变小,孔隙度加大,养分条件有所改善,腐殖质、氮、钾的含量增加,尤以钾的含量增加较快。由于固沙植物对水分的消耗,沙土水分含量有不同程度的减少,因此当流沙经植物固定2—3年后,即应及时造林,并适当扩大造林树种的株行距离。以免影响造林树种的成活、生长。

本文研究对象是甘肃省河西走廊中部地区几种固沙植物和地带性旱生植物。在测定其水势、束缚水含量、自由水含量、蒸腾强度和持水力等生态生理指标的基础上分析讨论了各个植物种水分关系的特点和适应干旱环境的方式。
