The process and the test method, the mechanical properties, the characteristics of the stress-strain curve of the TiNi orthodontic wire and it's clinical applications effect has been described. Comparing to the stainless steel now extensively used, the TiNi orthodontic wire which we have developed, have an excellent resilience, a lower modulus of elasticity, a lower stiffness, and the resistance to fracture of the Wire as a result of successive 90° bends is also more better than stainless steel. It's orthodontic effect is much better than stainless steel. Its major properties are equal to the Nitinol arch wire.

目的通过对正畸用不锈钢丝进行低温加热了解加热前后不锈钢丝的性能变化方法首先对正畸用不锈钢丝进行通电低温加热处理然后测试其加载后的塑性变形角、扭曲断裂角、循环折弯断裂次数结果经过加热处理后不锈钢丝回弹性明显提高塑性也有提高受过大扭转力时钢丝不易折断但钢丝疲劳强度降低结论当将正畸用不锈钢丝弯制完毕、结扎到牙弓上之前应对其进行低温加热处理但在加热后应避免再对钢丝进行反复弯曲以防钢丝折断
