Nd-substituted amorphous nickel hydroxide powder was prepared by the method of rapid freezing precipitation of micro-emulsion.The structure and morphology of the sample material were analyzed using XRD,SEM,Raman spectra and IR.Charge-discharge performance and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) were also studied.It was found that,with Nd doping,the faults and randomness of amorphous nickel hydroxide were increased,the charge transfer resistance was decreased,and the electrochemical performance and stability of the structure were improved.As the anode material of MH-Ni battery,when it was charged at 80 mA·g-1 for 5 h and discharged at 40 mA·g-1 to 1.0 V,the discharge volt-age maintained at 1.240 V,the open circuit voltage was 1.474 V and the discharge specific capacity reached as high as 348.89 mAh·g-1,and it also had a better cycling performance.
