The weight factors of the minimum fuel consumption function in different zones Wi are also obtained.An example is given to show the optimal control of furnace zone temperature according to the above mentioned linear programming system.

The "ZF" process is a new process to teem rimmed steel ingots which has been investigatedand developed in China. Using this process, the bloom yield is increased by 3-4%, andthe average charging temperature reached 1006.2℃ increased by 150℃-180℃. It is one of the efficientraces which ensure the liquid core heating and rolling. Due to the higher charging temperature,the fuel consumption is decreased by 40%, the loss during heating reduced by 0.05-0.7%, and thecapacity of the soaking pit is increased...

The "ZF" process is a new process to teem rimmed steel ingots which has been investigatedand developed in China. Using this process, the bloom yield is increased by 3-4%, andthe average charging temperature reached 1006.2℃ increased by 150℃-180℃. It is one of the efficientraces which ensure the liquid core heating and rolling. Due to the higher charging temperature,the fuel consumption is decreased by 40%, the loss during heating reduced by 0.05-0.7%, and thecapacity of the soaking pit is increased by 30%. It can be realized, by this process, that the samekinel of molds is used to teem either killed or rimmed steel. The percentage of the quality ingotreaches 99.66%. increased by 0.44% in comparision with that of ingots teemed by the conventionalprocess. ZF process has been now spread and put into production at the № 1 and 2 steel makingplants of Anshan Iron and Steel Co., the steel making plant of Panzhihua Iron and Steel Co. andsome other steelmaking plants, and more than 2×10~6T rimmed steel ingots have been producedby this process. The economical benefit is about 5.82 Yan (RMB) per ton ingot. The "ZF"process has been assigned as one of the key items to be spread around all the country.

“ZF”法是我国自行研制的一种浇铸沸腾钢锭的新工艺。采用这种方法,可提高钢锭成坯率3~4%,提高钢锭平均装炉温度150~180℃,平均入炉温度可达1006.2℃,是一种保证液芯加热和液芯轧制的有效途径之一。由于装炉温度提高,还可降低燃料消耗40%,降低烧损0.5~0.7%,使均热炉生产能力提高30%。这种方法可以实现镇静钢、沸腾钢共用一种钢锭模,钢锭质量合格率也比传统方法提高0.44%,达到99.66%。目前“ZF”法已在我国鞍钢一、二炼钢厂、攀钢等厂推广,已铸出沸腾钢锭2×10~6t以上,吨钢经济效益可达5.82¥/t。目前“ZF”法已被列为全国重点推广项目之一。
