For the ground network of the transmission lines designed in early stages in China the material of grounding body were mostly flat steel bar, which is not resistant to corrosion, due to low design and architectural standards. In addition, too small design area for the grounding body in the regions with high soil resistance was the major causes of the lightning accidences after operation of HV transmission lines. In addition, too small design area for the grounding body in the regions with high soil resistance was the major causes of the lightning accidences after operation of HV transmission lines. Therefore, the sectional area of the grounding body should comply with requirements in the “Code” SJD8—29 and the section of the down leading line should be 1.4 times of the section of the grounding body. The down leading line should be coated with asphalt and “double grounding” should be used. The buried depth of both horizontal and vertical grounding bodies should be added by 0.8 m with corrosive-resistant agent in order to reduce the ground resistance and increase the anti-corrosion property.

我国早期设计的输电线路接地网,由于设计及建设标准偏低,接地体材料大多采用扁钢,不耐腐蚀,加上高 土壤电阻率地区接地体面积过小,是造成高压输电线路投运后发生雷击事故的主要原因。因此,接地体的截面积应符 合SJD8—29《规程》要求,引下线截面积应为接地体截面积的1.4倍,引下线要进行涂沥青漆防腐处理,并实行“双接 地”;水平和垂直接地体埋深宜增至0.8m,且最好使用高效膨润土防腐降阻剂,以降低接地电阻和提高防腐蚀性能。
