An investigation of the percentage of injured rice hills, plants with withered leaf sheath and plants with withered central stalks of three early and late rice varieties caused by striped rice borer from different density of egg clusters was conducted in 1984—1985. Covarience analyses showed that not only the egg cluster density but also the percentage of injured hills and plants with withered leaf sheath could be used as index for chemical control of the pest. Static state models of economic threshold of chemical control were built up on the bases of determination of yield loss. Field control experiment was conducted in 1986 and threeformulas were developed.

Based on the determination of yielding and fragment length, the yield of the DNA by the method was 205—963 ng/mg·FW, and the length of the DNA fragment was more than 21 kb. The isolated DNA could be directly used for RFLP and RAPD analyses. The isolating method was proved to be a fast, easy and economic one for isolating genomic DNA from plants containing high polyphenols.

采用在细胞核被裂解之前去除细胞质中的茶多酚和蛋白质,而后用SDS裂解细胞核,异丙醇和乙醇沉淀基因组DNA的方法,分别从不同茶树品种新梢、干梢及冰冻新梢中成功地提取和纯化基因组DNA,并对其DNA的得率和质量进行了鉴定。DNA的得率在205~963ng/mg鲜重之间,所得到的DNA样品片段均大于21kb,适宜于进行限制性酶切和RAPD反应。实践证明,上述提取富含酚类物质植物基因组DNA的方法,不仅迅速简单,而且经济有效。
