Seven crosses were employed in this study,including four BC_1,one BC_2 of S spntaneum hybrids,and both positive as well as negative by S robustum F_1 & S spontaneum F_1 This study showed that both characteristics of yield and quality are low in positive and negative by S robostum F_1 and S spontaneum F_1 Thus, the significance lies not in the selection for breeding sugar production or source of energy The result showed high yield plants appeared much more in BC_1,but none of them contained sucrose up to 10% Thus,BC_1 was not good for sugar production but the new generation was ideal for source of energy and excellent parent for further selection.As to BC_2,high yield plants were comparatively few but 18% of the population reached the required standard and aquarter of the population contained sucrose no less than 10-14% Plants with high quality were also more in numbers.Thus BC_2 may be considered as qualified breed for the selection of high sugar content.The crossing of S rob F_1 and S sp F_1 were poor in either yield or quality so they were not satifactory for energy source or breeding materials. The calculated hereditary parameters from the dam appeared that h~2%, GCV% and GS' were higher in number of cane/stool stalk diameter and stalk volume.So selection of better backcross parent plants one may expect to obtain excellent varieties from BC_2.

With the interrupted development of new varieties,the effective use of the CP varieties as parents and the rapid extension of improved varieties such as Yuetang 63/237,“The Taitang 134 Age”,at which Taitang 134 was a predominant variety,has been over on the whole.But,there are the following obvious problems existing currently in our sugarcane breeding: sugarcane as parents has not flowered normally for years on end at Hainan Sugarcane Breeding Station;there are few available excellent parents;the blood relationship between crossing parents is close;the speed of spreading new developed varieties is slow.

本文主要是对近十年,本所的甘蔗新品种选育和广东省的甘蔗良种推广工作作一个评述,对良种工作的变化发展,所取得的成就予以肯定,对存在问题提出一些看法、意见及建议。新品种的不断育成,“新一代”CP 品种作亲本的有效利用,随着粤糖63—237等良种的迅速推广,“台糖134时代”已基本宣告结束。但是,海南甘蔗育种场连续几年亲本开花不正常,可用的优良亲本不多,且亲缘关系狭窄,新育成品种繁殖推广缓慢,这些都是当前我们甘蔗良种工作上较突出的问题。

利用5×4不完全双列杂交法分析了小麦9个育种亲本及配成20个组合产量性状的遗传力与配合力,结果表明:①各亲本间的互作效应在多数性状上是显著的,20个组合间9个性状的差异达显著或极显著水平,同一亲本与不同材料组配,F1有较大差异。②9个性状的广义遗传力大小顺序为:千粒重>穗粒重>单株产量>株高>穗粒数>分蘖数>穗长>结实小穗数。狭义遗传力大小顺序为:穗粒重>穗粒数>千粒重>结实小穗数>单株产量>小穗数>株高>分蘖数>穗长。在F1组合中穗粒重、穗粒数和千粒重加性效应大于非加性效应,而结实小穗数非加性效应大于加性效应。③兴901、贵农40白、QR33份亲本一般配合力较好,是余交育种的理想亲本。组配的26个组合中,单株产量特殊配合力好的组合有4个,千粒重特殊配合力好的组合有3个,穗粒重特殊配合力好的组合有2个,穗粒数特殊配合力好的组合有3个,分蘖数特殊配合力好的组合有3个,穗长特殊配合力好的组合有3个,株高特殊配合力好的组合有3个。
