These results indicate that plants of the grassland are deficient in zinc and selenium. 2. Yield of pasture plants was increased by adding zinc sulfate、ammonium molybdate, and boric acid, of the fertilizers tested, zinc sulfate was the most effective trace element fertilizer for increasing the yield of pasture plants. 3. The concentration of zinc was increased to levels above the minium required for normal growth and the concentration of selenium was correspondingly increased by adding zinc sulfate, ammonium molybdate, and boric acid.

广西有天然草地650万公顷,占总面积的27.5%。由于水热条件优越和地形较复杂,饲用植物种类多达1110种,其中优良饲草达380种之多,包括禾本科牧草205种,豆科牧草85种,还有木本饲用植物肥牛树、任豆树等.为提高草地质量,应加强本地优良牧草的引种驯化和选育栽培.
