In this paper the element stiffness matrices of the linear load axial element with linear variation in cross-section and the trapezoid constant shear panel with constant thickness have been derived, using these element stiffness matrices we can directly apply the Direct Stiffness Method to the thin-walled structures with the linear axial element and shear panel. This paper describes this method in detail. The results obtained by this method are the same as those by the Force Method. The consistency of the accuracy of the calculated results and the simp--licity of the practicality is satisfactory. Two check problems are given at the end of this paper for comparison. The results obtained by this method are found in good agreement with those by the other two methods.

木文导得了具有线性变化切面面积的勾变轴力杆和等厚度的受常剪流梯形钣的元件刚度矩阵。利用这些元件刚度矩阵我们就能将直刚法直接应用到具有匀变轴力杆和受剪钣的薄壁结构。按本法所求得的结果和力法的一致。本法在计算结果上的精确性和实用上的简便性的统一是令人满意的。作为比较,文末附有二个算例。可见按本法所求得的计算结果和其它二种方法所得的结果是很符合的。

This paper applies the collocation methods to the equations of a structural dynamic system farmulated by finite element to determine the structural transient response.Two metods are presented in this paper:(1) The step-by-step collocation method;(2) The least square collocation method.For a comparison between the two methods and the direct integration methods, a check problem is given at the end of this paper. The results show that the for-mer produce smaller errors than the later.
