The cultural method in vitro under erythropoietin stimulation, the cultural method of animal in vivo and the technique of radionuclide measure were applied to study physiological characterizations of fetal liver hematopoietic cells. It has been demonstrated that fetal liver cells contain rich hematopoietic stem cells with strong ability in proliferation. Fresh fetal liver cells in 4~5th month human feturs of gestation were selected, which were drawn by water capsule. More than 100 patients with aplastic anemia were treated by 310 fetal livers. The treatment efficiency rate reached 67%. Of them 9 women with aplastic anemia were transfused by their own fetal liver of feturs. The efficiency rate reached 100%. Good effects were obtained.
