Blending of Bezier patches with C1 continuity has an explicit geometric meaning of rearranging the second, row vertices(the first auxiliary directrix) along the common boundary. The pity is that the first auxiliary directrix after modification is generally expressed in an algebraic form, because of the complexity of the vectorial expression. This hides geometric explanation. Based upon a method presented by Bezier and Siouasion [1], this paper gives a general expression of the Bezier polyhedron for C1 blending of two n×n-degree patches. The result is convenient for computing and is suitable to be included into an interactive CAD system for blending and manipulating the Bezier patches.

Bézier曲面拼合,一般可以给出直观的几何解释——即用拼合边的第二排矢量(第一辅助准线)顶点的改变来说明实现C~1拼合的条件。遗憾的是,由于其矩阵表达式有些复杂,一般都将修改后的第一辅助准线表示为代数形式。这就失去了它的几何直观性。本文根据Bézier和Sioussion提出的一种C~1拼合方法[1],推导出两张n×n曲面C~1拼合时拼合曲面Bézier多面体的矢量矩阵一般公式。该结果会给用Bézier方法建立的人机交互计算机辅助几何设计系统的计算和对曲面进行拼合修改带来方便。
