The emphasis is put on the discussion of the applicability of the theoretical and empirical formulas used in the die design for the ferrous powder h ot forging to the refractory metal molybdenum powder hot forging die design. Transpasing C. L. Doweny's theoretical formula and applying it to the calculation of the dimensions of core rod of the punch, we obtained very satisfactory results. The physical meaning and application of the empirical parameter β in the empirical formula are analysed.

The present situation and experience of applying CAD/CAM to forging die manufacture in Shanghai Automobile Forging Works are introduced. An analysis is made, combined with concrete conditions of forging die design in this factory. To ensure the useful application of CAD/CAM in design manufacture, the relative quality assurance system and CAD/CAM quality control diagram are raised.

本文概要介绍上海汽车锻造总厂在锻模制造中应用CAD/CAM的现状和经验.结合该厂锻模设计制造中的具体情况,就以下三方面作了分析:1.锻模中切边模的设计与制造;2.CAD加工中走刀方向的改进;3.PC机与NC机床的通讯接口。最后,为确保CAD/CAM在设计制造中的有效应用,提出了建立相应的质保体系的建议,给出了CAD/CAM质量控制框图。
