In this article we analyse the process of resonant multiphoton from the view point of full quantization theory. Using the interaction representation and Laplace Transform, a group of linear Algebra equations and then the analytic repesentation of its charateristic determinant are obtained. The analytic solution of multiphoton transition probability is at last obtained, and it is much simpler than other previous methods.

I(5p2p3/20) and I*(5p 2P1/20) atoms have been detected by resonant(3+2)and(4+l) multiphoton ionization using tunable dye laser (4600-5000A).The iodine atoms are generated by laser dissociation of I molecules. 12 atomic transitions are observed in the laser wavelength region, among which the (4+1) multiphoton transitions are observed for the first time.

In this paper, we develop a theoretical method for calculating the probabilities of multiphoton transitions. Our results show that the present method is in agreement with the traditional perturbation method under weak field limit, but the practical calculations based on the former are much simpler than the latter. On the other hand, the present method can produce the essential features of saturation phenomenon which appears in the case of strong fields. The main ideas in the present paper are as follows....
