The acid change of P-ZSM-5 catalyst treated with heat and steam at 650—950℃ was studied using TG-DTG, IR, XPS, XRD, and vapor gravimetric adsorption techniques, and its effects on olefin conversion from methanol in a continuous-flow reaction system were examined. The Brnsted acid at the strong acid sites were converted to Lewis acid after thermal treatment at 650—950℃. After steam treatment at 650—800℃, besides B acid being convetted to L acid, the aluminium atoms at the strong acid sites in a number of cases were removed from the crystal lattice with increasing temperature, the conversion of methanol and the yield of ethylene decreased, and that of C_3~= and C_4~= increased. The selectivity of ethylene depended on the number of strong acid site.

The effect of some precursors and different additives such as Zn and Mg on catalyst performance in F- T synthesis reaction was studied. The results show that a catalyst 8805 with high activity and olefin selectivity can be prepared by using oxalate complex as precursor and forming ultrafine particle, and its main characteristics as a F- T synthesis catalyst is better than that of all other similar F-T catalysts.

The influence of Na 2SO 4 on the hydroformylation of 1 hexene catalyzed by the complex catalyst system:RhCl(CO)(TPPTS) 2 TPPTS CTAB in organic/aqueous two phases system had been investigated.The authors found the micellar solubilization and salting out effect of Na 2SO 4,which had positive and negative influence on the activity of the water soluble catalyst,co operated in this biphasic catalytic system.The suitable concentration of Na 2SO 4 was favourable for catalyst preservation in aqueous phase and decrease leaching of rhodium complexes into organic phase,while the conversion rate of olefin into aldehyde also reached a higher value.It was proved by the increase of olefin conversion is related to the concentration of catalyst in the interface layer.The higher the concentration of rhodium complexes in the interface layer,the faster the hydroformylation rate of olefin is.
