This paper at first introduces theoretical analysis for travling-wave directional filter and gives the scattering matrix of this filter. On this basis author has developed the microstrip filter used for a 12GHz direct broadcast satellite receiver Preamplifier. The theory and experiments show that this filter is very useful for microwave band.

目前普遍采用的微带带通滤波器,由于传输线元件是中心频率的1/4导波长,因而存在两个根本的缺点:1)有中心频率的奇次谐波寄生通带存在;2)当工作频率较低时,会使滤波器尺寸偏大。本文介绍的用新的设计方法设计的新型滤波器,在理论上不再存在上述两个固有缺点。利用开发的CAD软件设计了一个滤波器,其测试结果与预期特性有很好的一致性。
