MANET是由一系列可以自由移动的节点主机聚集而成的一个临时性动态网络。它没有固定基站,也没有作为控制管理中心的节点主机。由于其拓扑的动态性,其路由协议不同于其它网络。为更有效支持MANET的应用,文章提出了一种基于移动预测下的Unicast路由。该协议采用GPS定位机制,通过预测路径有效连接时间来实现。模拟结果表明这种方案能获得较好的网络性能和较低的控制开销。

This paper provides a QoS routing protocol based on mobility prediction. This protocol picks the steadiest path based on mobility prediction and QoS requirements on bandwidth , delay, and so forth . The results of simulation show that the scheme has good network performance with low control overload, and efficiently supports transmitting multimedia with QoS requirements in MANET.

该文提出了一种基于预测机制的QoS路由协议。该协议在移动预测的机制下,通过选取满足QoS条件(链路带宽和传输延时)的最稳传输路径来实现。模拟结果表明这种方案在移动自组网中可获得较好的网络性能和较低的控制开销,能有效支持具有QoS需求的多媒体信息的传输。

A location management scheme using the historical records of user movements in cellular mobile communication systems is presented for the radio bandwidth resource consumption of current location strategies.The impacts of the sequential and parallel paging methods on the performance of this scheme are investigated and compared. A tradeoff exists between the paging overhead and paging delay, making the scheme flexible when selecting between the sequntial and parallel paging methods according to the mobility prediction accuracy and quality of service (QoS) to provide. As a result, the scheme can lead to higher resource utilization and better system performance. Analysis and numerical results show that the proposed scheme saves considerably the radio bandwidth resources under the fluid flow mobility model.

针对当前的定位管理策略消耗大量无线带宽资源的缺点,提出了一种基于记忆性的智能定位管理策略,比较了顺序寻呼和并行寻呼两种方法对策略性能的影响.由于寻呼开销和寻呼延迟之间存在折中关系,在执行该定位管理策略时,系统可以根据用户的移动预测水平和对服务质量的要求灵活选择不同的寻呼方法,从而提高系统资源利用率和服务质量.理论分析和数值计算结果均表明,在液体流动运动模型下,该策略比传统定位策略节省了大量的无线带宽资源.
