The longitudinal-lateral automatic feed system for ablation lusting is developed for the purpose of developing several transient probes, improving the efficiency of arc heater ablation testing and the quality of testing results, The system has the capability of automatically controlling up to five models or probes per testing. It can drive the lateral flat by power stepping motor, so the model can arrive at the predictive position accurately with the displacement less than 0.1mm. The sweep speed for various probes is 0.08 m/sec to 0.43 m/sec. The longitudinal automatic feeder accurately compensates for the ablating recession of model through the use of laser positioner and fast clutch-brake unit. Success has been achieved as a result of adjusting the system in the laboratory and eliminating the electric-magnetic disturbance of arc heater. By the use of this system pressure profile, heat flux profile and enthalpy of the jet of arc heater have been measured by various transient probes. The efficiency and quality of ablation test have been improved immensely.

为发展各种快速探针,提高电弧加热器调试和烧蚀试验的效率以及试验结果的质量,我们研制成功了一套纵横向自动送进系统。该系统容许五个模型或探针参加试验。横向送进,采用大功率步进电机驱动,到位重复性优于0.1毫米,还能以0.08米/秒一0.43米/秒的速度扫掠各种快速探针;纵向送进,采用激光定位——快速离合器控制的直流电机驱动,可准确地补偿模型烧蚀的后退量。经过现场调试,排除电磁场干扰后该系统已获得成功。利用该系统各种快速探针测出了电弧加热器射流的压力剖面、热流剖面和气流焓值。烧蚀试验的效率和质量均得到了很大的提高。

The purpose of the present study was to develop a ground test capability for simulating heating and pressure fields around the control wing of controllable lifting vehicles in order to study ablation phenomena on heatshield surfaces. In this paper, an experimental method based on an arc heater is introduced, and mojor results are shown for flow separation, heat transfer and ablation on a model of a control wing for supersonic, turbulent flow over a flat plate. The results obtained showed that with a transverse seam in front of wing angle, the effects of flow separation were weakened, hence lead to the minimum wing angle that produced flow separation increased. Because of the effects of flow separation, the pressures and heat fluxes raise, and the ablation velocities increase significantly in regions on and around the wing. This paper presents correlating formulas.

本研究之目的是为了模拟可控有升力飞行器周围的加热和压力场,研究受热表面的烧蚀现象,以便发展地面的实验能力。在电弧加热器上,利用超声速湍流平板技术,进行控制翼模型分离、传热和烧蚀实验。结果表明,由于翼角前有一条横缝,分离效应减弱,导致产生分离的最小翼角增大。由于分离流动影响,在翼上及其周围压力和热流升高,烧蚀速度大大增加。本文给出了有关的相关公式。

A thermal emission velocimeter(TEV)technique to mea-sure particle velocity was discussed.The principle of the techniqueis the detection of thermal radiation from the hot particle in hightemprature two-phase flow.The technique used to measure particlevelocity in arc-heater jet and rocket shell spurt flames,to get moresatisfied results.
