The magnetoresistance effect at room temperature in oblique-incident vacuum evaporated permalloy films was studied. The experimental results obtained can be summarized as follows. (1) In these films the magnetoresistance effect is anisotropic. However, the relation still holds for any given direction of the current.(2) The existence of uniaxial magnetic anisotropy in such films is inferred from the fact that the value at remanence, is independent of the direction, along which the external magnetic...

The magnetoresistance effect at room temperature in oblique-incident vacuum evaporated permalloy films was studied. The experimental results obtained can be summarized as follows. (1) In these films the magnetoresistance effect is anisotropic. However, the relation still holds for any given direction of the current.(2) The existence of uniaxial magnetic anisotropy in such films is inferred from the fact that the value at remanence, is independent of the direction, along which the external magnetic field was applied to bring the films to saturation before the remanence.(3) The resistance was also observed when sufficiently high fields were applied nearly perpendicular to the film. The data thereby obtained are in qualitative agreement with calculations made according to the Stoner-Wohlfarth model.

The magnetoresistance of InSb-NiSb eutectic composites with and without Te-doped 6 ×1016/cm3 unidirectionally solidified under G=125±5℃/cm with various rates (R) is tested under different temperatures and magnetic inductions (B). Hall angle θ of Te-doped eutectic is smaller, e.g. B= 10kG,θ = 74.6-72.5°(R= 0.046-0.548mm/min),and eutectic without Te. θ= 80.9-76°(R= 0.041-0.60 mm/min); and5, temperature coefficient of magnetoresistance of Te-doped eutectic is smaller, , and eutectic without Te.

炉子温度梯度G=125±5°C/cm,不同单向凝固速度(R)制备的掺Te 6×10~(16)/cm~3和不掺Te的InSb-NiSb共晶复合材料,测试它们在不同温度(T),不同磁感(B)的电阻值时,发现:1.在R—(R_B/R_0)关系上出现(R_B/R_0)最大值,这现象在国内外文献中未曾见过,它可由物理的和几何的磁阻效应来说明。2.在同样的T,B下,掺Te共晶的(R_B/R_0)值较小,例如室温,B=10kG时,掺Te共晶(R_B/R_0)=7~9,而不掺Te的(R_B/R_0)=12~16;而且温度越高(R_B/R_0)越低。3.掺Te共晶的B(RB-R0)曲线上开始出现线性关系的Bs值较高,在7~7.5kG,而未掺Te共晶的Bs≥4~5kG。4.掺Te共晶的霍耳角较小,B=10kG时时θ=74.6~72.5°(R=0.046~0.548mm/min),而未掺Te共晶的θ=80.9~76°(R=0.041~0.60mm/min)。5.掺Te共晶的磁阻温度系数较小,αρ_(B10-(?)°c=0.21~0.41%/℃,而未掺Te共晶αρ_(B10-50°)=0.84~1.73%/℃。

A new effect is observed in the measurements of magnetic field by using the Hall effect method. The new effect is that the magnetoresistance effect can also contribute to the "IR" drop if the Hall probes are not exactly on the same equipotential, as a consequence of which a magnetic field cannot ho determined with sufficient accuracy. An improved method for overcoming this difficulty is proposed in the paper.

用霍耳效应法测量磁场,观察到了一种新效应,即当霍耳电极不恰好处在同一等位线上时,磁阻效应对不等位电压也有贡献,从而影响到磁场测量的准确度。提出了一种克服这一困难的新方法.
