Magnetites and hematites were formed on the surface of hot-rolled plates.The scale with developed magnetite and a sawtooth structure connected with matrix coule provide a good protection to the matrix.The rare earth added made the steel cleaner and inclusions more g ranular. It seems that rare earth in the steel inhibited the decomposition of magnetite under the reaction with water and air. The steel treated by rare earth had better atmospheric corrosion resistance.

The new kind of steels 11CuPSiMn2NbTiRE and 11CuPSiMn3NbTiRE has been designed (named anti-weathering dual-phase steel) which has excellent atmosphere corrosion resistance of anti-weathering steel and excellent cold forming property of dual-phase steel, according to alloying theory of anti-weathering steel and dual-phase steel. Austenite formation during interitical heating and cooling transformation of those steel was studied. The results show that the laws of austenite transformation during intercritical heating of those steels are basically same with general dual-phase steel. The hardenability of those steels is rather high, so they can get M+F dual-phase structure after cooliug with the furnace cooling rate (20℃/h) form (α+γ) zone. The morphology martemite region is acicular andβ=3.5~5.0.

根据耐候钢和双相钢的合金化原理设计了一类将耐候钢的优良耐候性与双相钢的优良冷成型性溶为一体的耐候双相钢11CuPSiMn2NbTiRE和11CuPSiMn3NbTiRE。研究了其双相区奥氏体形成及冷却转变。结果表明:这两种耐候双相钢在双相区加热时的奥氏体形成规律与普通双相钢一致;其淬透性很高,经双相区加热后,即使炉冷(20℃/h)亦可获得(M+F)双相组织,其马氏体区大部呈条状,β值达3.5~5.0。
