This paper is giving a review on the progress of the research work as well as the development of knowledge and understanding on the Relict Gull Larus relictus in the last 30 years since the bird was recognized as a separate species in 1971 It is generally to say that the Relict Gull is breeding on and around the Mongolian Highland and at present having four breeding subpopulations — the Central Asia, around the lake Alakol and Balkhash in Khazakstan and probably also in Xinjiang of NW China; the Gobi, scattered almost in whole C and W parts of the People's Republic of Mongolia and extending to South Gobi in China where the type of the bird collected; the Far East, distribu\|ted in Chita Region of E Russia, NE Mongolia, and NE China; and the Ordos, on the Ordos Highland and its surroundings of Inner Mongolia, China. The gull is reported obligatorily choosing those islets in lakes in desert and semi desert to nest and therefore in high dynamics of its breeding subpopulations due to the unstableness, caused by climate changes, of suitable habitats. And, though field records on banded birds have shown evidently that some birds of the year might be dispersing to a long distance from the places where they hatched, whereas, for the main wintering flock(s) and site(s) of the bird, it still remains uncertain.

The system is of higher dynamics and drive power and is controlled by an industrial computer. The software is programmed based on LabVIEW and the system parameters can be easily modified. Furthermore, it is a double closed-loop system that includes a simulative closed-loop and a digital closed-loop, and its main parameters can be monitored in real time. So, the system is of higher reliability. The output signal is tracking desire signal exactly by using of adaptive inverse control method and LMS algorithms.
