This paper analyzes the mode I crack problems of finite structures based on the local global analytical method. The asymptotic expression, a kind of high power singular element is constructed. As an example, the capacitance of the cylindrical capacitor has been studied, in which the method of the solution of electrostatic boundary value problems is used to calculate the capacitance of the cylindrical capacitor, the analytical formula has been found which can be used to compute the capacitance of the cylindrical capacitor with arbitrary ratio of its plate radius to the lognitudinal size. The consistent of the numerical value results with that of the theorys approximations indicate that the analyzing mode is effective.
