Single-chop PWM control mode is commonly used in the flume rotor DSPMM.But traditional single-chop PWM control mode causes the power loss unbalance between the upper transistor and the lower one of the power inverter, which makes the thermal design more difficult and impacts system reliability.An improved alternative single-chop PWM control mode is proposed in the paper, which ensures the consistency of power loss between the upper transistor and the lower one. The comparison of two single-chop PWM control modes and experimental results reveal that the improved alternative single-chop PWM control mode can eliminate the hot-spot problem under the traditional single chop PWM mode,and improve overall efficiency with high reliability.

三相六状态控制的转子斜槽式双凸极永磁电机通常采用单斩PWM调制方式。但传统的只斩桥臂上管或只斩桥臂下管的单斩方式会造成桥臂上下功率管损耗的不同,加大了散热设计难度。提出一种改进型单斩PWM调制方式,对桥臂上下管进行轮换单斩,保证了每个开关管损耗的一致性。两种单斩PWM调制方式的分析对比及系统实验结果表明:改进型轮换单斩上下管的PWM调制方式确保了上下管损耗的一致性,克服了传统单斩方式使功率控制器存在局部热点的缺陷,提高了系统效率,具有较高的可靠性。

For the doubly salient permanent magnet(DSPM) motor,position sensors are nececssary to provide the correct rotor position for the motor controller and correct commutation signals.Two basic position adjustment methods are given based on a 12/8-pole flume-rotor DSPM motor.Three Hall sensors mounted on its rotor part can obtain position signals.But due to the non-sinusoidal winding back electro motive force(EMF) or asymmetry of three winding EMFs caused by the motor,the fabrication and other reasons,it is difficult to adjust all Hall sensors to meet their ideal position relationships.Thus a novel adjustment method-2 by the coarse-adjustment in the generation state and by the trim-adjustment in the motor-driven state is proposed.Firstly,Hall sensor positions are coarse-adjustment when DSPM is used as a generator.Then by the basic adjustment method-2,the Hall positions are trim-adjusted when DSPM is used as a motor.The symmetry of non-conducting winding current tails and the maximum overall efficiency are used as the adjustment rule. The method is confirmed to be correct and feasible in the applications of DSPM motor.

双凸极永磁电动机运行时,必须配备位置传感器,并调整到合适的位置,为其提供准确的换相信号。文中针对12/8极转子斜槽式双凸极永磁电机,给出两种基于三相反电势对称度及正弦度良好的发电态霍尔位置调整方法,但因电机设计及机械加工等因素造成的相电势非完全正弦或三相不对称,这两种基本调整方法很难使三相霍尔同时调整到满足理想位置关系。为此,文中提出“发电粗调,电动微调”的霍尔位置调整方法2,即先在发电态下粗调霍尔位置,再在电动态下,以非导通相绕组电流尾巴的对称度及系统效率最大化作为判断依据,进行霍尔位置的细微调整。该方法已在双凸极永磁电动机实际运行中得到了检验及应用。
