Objective To study the regularity of the rat electric stimulation sensitivity after hemispheric irradiation.Methods After anaesthetized with chloral hydrate,the hemisphere of Sprague-Dawly female rats were irradiated by the single dose of 5,15 or 30Gy of 4MeV electronic ray.On the third,tenth and sixty day after irradiation,the rat electric stimulation sensitivity was measured with Y-maze.Results On the third or tenth day after hemispheric irradiation,the impairment of electric stimulation sensitivity of the Sprague-Dawly rats was the most significant,and partly restored on the sixty day.The electric stimulation sensitivity of the mice with 30Gy irradiation was injured apparently, that with 15Gy irradiation also injured,and that with 15Gy irradiation was less injured.Conclusion The electric stimulation sensitivity of the rat was decreased by hemispheric irradiation.The degree of impairment is corresponding to the irradiation dose and investigated time after irradiation.
