The key factors limiting the potential productivity of wheat are the disorder of three important factors draw and drain, land utilization and soil fertilization and with the rational read just ment of the proportion of agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry in these areas.The rational guota of water for irrigition, the optimum amount of chemical fertilizers, and the eco-economic return of ecological equilibrium were also studied. The result was indicated that the main ways to win high and stable yields of wheat and to develop the agriculture of the irrigiting area are the establishment of ecological stability of the whole natural system in the irrigiting areas.

Hence, it may be seen that the acid precipitation in southwest China is a potential problem to the local eco-environment.

用静态平衡法探讨了酸性降水对土壤酸化及铝溶出的影响。实验结果表明:土壤对酸的缓冲能力较强;酸雨对土壤酸化的贡献甚微,但对土壤中活性铝的溶出却有明显效应。另外,土壤本身的特性(如酸碱度,腐殖质含量及温度等)也起很大作用。对于地质条件相近的土壤,由于本身的pH值不同,铝的溶出量差别很大,一般而言,酸性土铝的溶出量高于碱性土。因此,可以推断:我国西南地区酸性降水可能对当地土壤生态存在着潜在的危害。

But successes can only be gained withsuitable trees and grasses planted in suitable areas, not everywhere random.According to the physical geographic conditions and water resources distr-ibution in Hexi arid region, the author works out its favorable plantationareas as follows: The Qilianshan Mt. plantation area with natural rainfalls, theHexi Corridor plantation area with shallow ground water supports and the He-xi Corridor plantation area with artificial irrigations. The harmonious coordination and cooperation of commercial farming,stock raising and protective afforesting should be the prevailing orientationabided in the constructicn of Hexi's agriculture.
