A cut flower preservative under the trade name of "Ever Beauty", whose formulation was designed by Shanghai Agricaltural College is an effective preservative, it may prolong vase life of cut flower and make the flower more colorful and lustrous.Recently, the authors have investigated the ultrastructure of leaf mesophell cells of cut Chinese rose flower treated with "Ever Beauty" preservative solution by using transmission electron microscope. The results showed: the "Ever Beauty" preservative solution had the ability to maintain the normal structure, ultrastructure and functions of leaf mesophyll cell of excised Chinese rose cut flower. So the senescence rate of leaf cell was decreased significantly as compared with the check treatment.Therefore it is suggested that the cut flower preservative "Ever Beauty" solution hasadouble ability to keep both flower and leaf fresh and gives better results than other cut flower preservatives.

上海农学院自行研制的切花保鲜剂,商品名为艳花素,应用于鲜花切花能增加花的色泽并延长开放时间。本文应用透射电子显微镜探索了切花保鲜剂对月季切花叶肉细胞超微结构的影响,观察到切花保鲜剂能维持离体切花叶肉细胞正常的结构和功能,延缓细胞的衰老,具有对花和叶片的双重保鲜能力,从而显示其优良的效果。
