The electrolytes T3, T4, the hematocrit and RBC count, and the serum corticosteroid level were measured before and 24 hours after injection.25 dogs were divided into two groups; the control group consisted of 8 dogs and the therapeutic group consisted of 17 dogs, among which nine were treated with hyosine hydrobromide and 8 with dexamethasone. The histologic specimens of the animals of the control group and hyosine hydrobromide treated group were examined with both light and electron microscopes but the specimens of the animals of dexamethasone treated group were examined with light microscope only.It was found that dexamethasone is effective in the treatment of RDS produced with oleic acid injection while hyosine hydrobromide is of no value.

本试验对25只杂种犬静注油酸0.03ml/kg制成RDS模型。注射后24小时活杀。注射油酸前及注后立即、30分钟、1、2、4、6、22、24小时测量动脉及混合静脉血PaO_2、PaCO_2和pH,每小时测量平均肺动脉压,注射前及注后2、4、6、24小时拍胸片,注射前及24小时后查电解质、T_3、T_4、红细胞压积、血红蛋白、血清皮质醇水平。8只犬为对照组,9只犬用东莨菪硷治疗,8只犬用地塞米松治疗。对照组与东莨菪硷组用光学镜和电镜检查(另文报号),地塞米松组仅用光学镜检。地塞米松治疗组较对照组有效,但东莨菪硷治疗组效果不佳。

This paper is to report our observation and analysis of the pathological changes of the experimental respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) induced by oleic acid in 25 adult hybrid dogs and the comparison of the therapeutic effects between scopola-mine and dexamethasonum. The results are: it is practicable to produce an experimental model of RDS in dogs with oleic acid and dexamethasonum is more effective in treating the pulmonary inflammation and edema of RDS than scopolamine.

本文观察与分析了25只杂交成犬用油酸所引起的RDS的病理改变,并比较了东莨菪碱与地塞米松的实验治疗效果。初步看出用油酸复制犬RDS模型是可行的。地塞米松的消炎与消水肿的效果较东莨菪碱为好。

Hybrid dogs were randomly divided into hemorrhagic shock group (HS) and similar but pretreated with dexamethasone group (HS-D) . The arterial blood pressure was kept at 5.3-6.7Kpa by means of bloodletting and infusion through the femoral artery. The survival period was significantly longer in the HS-D group than the HS group. Analyses of pH, PCO2. HCO3 and BE values showed that metabolic acidosis developed in both groups with development of hemorrhagic shock. The content of serum lipid peroxides was gradually increasing in the HS group and decreasing in the HS-D group. Difference in the serum lipid peroxide contents between these 2 groups became obvious after 4.5 hours(P<0.05).The above results show that one of the mechanisms of dexamethasone in protecting dogs from hemorrhagic shock may be that it blocks the production of lipid peroxides.

本实验用8只杂种犬复制了失血性休克的病理模型,按体重随机分为失血性休克(SH)组和失血性休克——地塞米松(SH—C)组。在实验过程中,通过调整血容量使动脉血压维持于5.3~6.7kPa,定期取动脉血测pH、PCO_2、HCO_3-BE和测血清中过氧化脂质的含量。结果表明:SH—D组的存活时间显著地长于SH组,动脉血pH、PCO_2,HCO~-_3和BE检测的结果是,随着失去性休克的进展,SH组和SH—D组均发生了强度相似的代谢性酸中毒;血清过氧化脂质的含量,随失血时间的延长,SH组逐渐增高,而SH—D组则逐渐降低,至失血后4.5小时,两组比较差异显著(P<0.05)。
