The pot and plot experiments have been londacted for studying the effect of copper pollution on wheat and rice in calcareous soil fertilized with sludge containing copper. The results demonstrated that high concentrations of copper in soil affected on the growth of the crops and their yields. Rice was more susceptible to it than wheat, and reduced the yield about 10% when the soil had been treated with copper by 100 ppm. The order of absorption and accumulation of copper within the organs was as follows: root >> stem > leaf > grain. The copper content in grains of wheat and rice both were not higher than 20 ppm. In the soil fertilized with the sludge, the variation of available copper, its cation speciationand soil capacity were also studied in the paper. It is aug-gested that 130 ppm of copper as a critical value, and800 ppm as a maximun permissible limit in sludge as it is fertilized to calcareous soil.

Copper concentration has significant effect on the activity of SOD and it indicates the law of restraint-induction-restraint with the increase of copper concentration. Such results show that the activity of SOD responses sensitively to the copper contamination and it is a reliable indicator of copper pollution. The optimum selective tissue for the indication of copper contamination on Chlamys farreri should be gills, followed by viscera.

采用暴露实验方法,研究了不同浓度的铜(Cu2+)对栉孔扇贝(Chlamysfarreri)鳃、肌肉、内脏团组织铜蓄积量及超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活性的影响。结果表明:随水体中铜浓度升高,扇贝各组织的铜蓄积量明显上升,依次为内脏>鳃>肌肉。Cu2+浓度对栉孔扇贝各组织超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活性均有明显影响,酶活性随Cu2+浓度升高表现为抑制-诱导-抑制的规律。栉孔扇贝各组织SOD酶对水体中Cu污染反应敏感,存在计量-效应关系,对海洋铜污染具有指示作用。能灵敏指示海洋铜污染的扇贝优选组织是鳃,其次是内脏。
