The present paper deals with effects of air fluoride pollution on the ground squirrel (Citellus dauricus mongolicus Milne-Edwards) and its habitat. The present paper deals with effects of air fluoride pollution on the ground squirrel (Citellus dauricus mongolicus Milne-Edwards) and its habitat. The steel factory in our study area is a point source of air fluoride pollution. Six sites were selected in the area for collecting the samples of ground squirrel femurs, herbs and soil.The fluoride concentration in the femur ash of the ground squirrel, in herbs and in soil varied with the distance and direction from the fluoride source. The farther the location from the source of fluoride pollution, the lower the F-concentration in all samples. Especially, all samples collected in the Vicinity towards northwest of the pollution source were highly contaminated by fluoride. But there was no clear relationship between the body weight of the ground squirrel and its F-concentratioh in the femur ash. the Ground spu-irrel may be a weedy species for fluoride contamination.There was no clear influence of fluoride pollution on the species, biomassand diversity of plants in the study area. There is a significant relationship of F-concentration between the femur ash ard herbs expressed by the equationY=27.16X102.

A systematic investigation on the harmness of fluoride pollution caused by an aluminum-producing plant was carried out by environmental monitoring, biological surveillance and epidemiological survey from January 1985 to April 1986. The results obtained showed that the main source of the pollution was the fluoride-con- taining gas and waste water emitted from the electrolysis workshop of the plant, causing the atmosphere, surface water, soils, staple and subsidiary foods produced, as well as vegetables growing in the vicinity of the plant to be polluted severely by fluoride. In the investigated place, Yanshanhong Community, the incidence of dental flurosis in farmers was found to be as high as 88.40%, and that in Dou-laying Community was 67.44%, which lies east of the main wind direction. Roent-genograms of pelvis and forearm made in 123 farmers in Liuzhuang Village of Yanshanhong and 39 in Doulaying revealed a positive rate of 36.6% and 23%, respectively, with moderate and severe cases dominating. Restricted flexion of elbow joints was observed in 81 cases (66%). Mean level of urinary fluoride was found to be 22.59mg/L in 84 farmers in Liuzhuang. On the other hand, the determination of contents of trace elements in whole blood of 25 adult farmers residing in the polluted areas showed higher levels of Cu, Mn and Mg as compared with those of normal adults in the city of Guiyang. Contents of trace elements in hair of adult farmers were detected, and the most important factors affecting levels of urinary fluoride were found to be lead and aluminum in hair. The background . fluoride survey in the affected areas demonstrated that most parts of Yanshanhong Community belonged to geological zone with not high level of fluoride, particularly the severely affected Liuzhuang Village where fluoride contents in both rocks and soils were very low, indicating the fact that the aluminum-producing plant played a main role in the development of severe fluorosis in the area concerned.

本文报告,1985年1月至1986年4月,以环境监测、生物学监测和流行病学调查同步进行的方法,对贵州省某铝厂氟污染危害做了调查研究。结果表明,污染源主要为该厂电解车间排放的氟烟和废水,使厂区附近的大气和地面水、土壤、主副食品和植物受到严重的氟污染。调查点艳山红乡农民氟斑牙率高达88.40%,处于调查区常年主导风向东侧的都拉营乡农民氟斑牙率为67.44%。对艳山红乡刘庄村123名农民和都拉营乡39名农民骨盆和前臂的X线摄片查检,氟骨症阳性率各为36.6%和23%,且中度和重度患者较多。检查污染区121人,有81人(占66%)其肘关节屈曲受限不正常。测定刘庄村84名农民的尿氟平均水平为22.59mg/L。测定25名氟污染区成年农民全血微量元素,其中铜、锰、镁的水平和贵阳市健康成年人相比均较高。测定了30名成年农民头发中的微量元素含量,用逐步回归多因素分析尿氟与人发中微量元素的关系,发现影响尿氟最主要的是发铅和发铝。氟污染区的本底氟调查结果,艳山红乡的大部分地区均属非高氟地质带,特别是危害严重的刘庄村一带的岩石和土壤的含氟量均不高,属非高氟带,说明严重氟危害的氟源主要来自铝厂。

通过对郑州市13种常见树木的叶片和当年生枝含氟量的分析,研究了氟化物在树木枝叶内分布以及随季节、地点、树种而变化的规律。认为树木对大气氟污染具有很强的净化能力,可用净化指数加以评定。净化指数由树木含氟量和干物质减少率两个定量测定因子计算得出,作为植物对氟的吸收和耐受能力的指标。净化指数变化范围在0—1之间,以此可划分为净化能力强、中、弱三种类型。最后提出了郑州市大气氟污染的净化树种。
