Black coatings and electroless nickel deposites were obtained on SiCw/Al composites. The properties of both the coatings and the deposites were examined. The results show that the SiCw/Al composites can be blackened by the improved oxidation plus chemical colouring or direct chemical colouring processes. Electroless nickel deposits can be obtained by conventional electrolcss deposition processes. The reflectance of the black coatings, the thickness of which can reach 25μm, can be as low as 7%, and...

Black coatings and electroless nickel deposites were obtained on SiCw/Al composites. The properties of both the coatings and the deposites were examined. The results show that the SiCw/Al composites can be blackened by the improved oxidation plus chemical colouring or direct chemical colouring processes. Electroless nickel deposits can be obtained by conventional electrolcss deposition processes. The reflectance of the black coatings, the thickness of which can reach 25μm, can be as low as 7%, and the bonding strength between the black coating and the matrix can be as high as 234 MPa. The quality of the nickel deposits is good, and the bonding strength between the deposits and the matrix can reach 320 MPa.

对SiCw/Al复合材料进行了表面发黑处理和表面化学镀镍处理,并研究了表面膜的性能。结果表明,用改进的阳极氧化加化学染色方法和化学镀镍方法可以分别对SiCw/Al复合材料进行发黑处理和表面化学镀镍处理。发黑膜对光的反射系数最低可达7%,厚度可达25μm,与基底的结合力达234MPa以上。表面镀镍层质量良好,与基底的结合力达320MPa。
