This well has obtained industrial oil flow 330 kl/d by testing. This paper summarizes the knowledge and experience of using short-radius steerable motor and emergency handling, the operation characteristics of short-radius steerable motor system have been mastered. The fishing operation in this short-radius well are also summarized. Therefore,it is concluded that successful drilling in granitic formations will lay a foundation for the development of oil and gas in Bohai Oilfield,
