The fuzzy set theory is a rapidly growing branch of applied mathematics whereas the Boolean-valued model is a nonstandard model of the axiomatic set theory. This model has played a very important role in the independence proofs of the set theory. We have introduced in [1] the concept of the normal fuzzy set structure which is a characterization and generalization of fuzzy set theory and we have proved that any one normal fuzzy set structure is a Boolean-valued model of the axiomatic set theory ZFa with...

The fuzzy set theory is a rapidly growing branch of applied mathematics whereas the Boolean-valued model is a nonstandard model of the axiomatic set theory. This model has played a very important role in the independence proofs of the set theory. We have introduced in [1] the concept of the normal fuzzy set structure which is a characterization and generalization of fuzzy set theory and we have proved that any one normal fuzzy set structure is a Boolean-valued model of the axiomatic set theory ZFa with urelements. We have attempted, so to speak, to set up a bridge between these two subjects. In the paper we have also provided a kind of clarification of [1] and a somewhat detailed explanation of the connection between the basic concepts of the normal fuzzy set structure and those of the existing fuzzy set theory. We have also introduced the concepts of ordinals and cardinals of the normal fuzzy sets. The study contained in this paper may be considered as a generalization and development of the theory of Boolean-valued model.
