The effects of spatial curvature radius on the laser cutting quality indexes of pipe with spiral cutting pattern such as the top kerf width, the extent of heat affected zone (HAZ), the cut surface roughness R z, the microhardness (HV 0.1 ), the half squareness were investigated. The results show that the values of the kerf width on the upper surface, the half squareness, and the HAZ increase with the increase of spatial curvature radius except for the values of the cut surface roughness...

The results show that the values of the kerf width on the upper surface, the half squareness, and the HAZ increase with the increase of spatial curvature radius except for the values of the cut surface roughness R z as the diameter of pipe remains unchanged and the pitch increases. The main reason is the heat accumulation and preheating effects.

研究了空间曲率半径对管材激光螺旋切割后切割质量指标的影响。当管径不变、螺距增大时 ,随着空间曲率半径的增加 ,切缝宽度、热影响区宽度及切口横截面半垂直度增大 ,切口表面粗糙度减小。热积累和预热效应是造成上述现象的主要原因

In this paper author describes the result of an experiment which illustrates the effect of laser beam incident angle on laser cutting quality. The experiemnt shows the possibility to get a satisfying cutting quality with the non vertical laser beam to work piece surface. This is quite different from the traditional ideas which the laser beam must be vertical to work piece surface for laser cutting. In three dimensional laser cutting author gives the way...

研究了激光入射角对薄板切割质量的影响 ,结果表明 ,在一定条件下 ,激光束不垂直工件表面时 ,仍可以获得切缝细、挂渣少的切割效果。同时切割头的运动方向在激光束不垂直于被加工表面时 ,对切割质量也有显著影响。给出了在三维激光切割时 ,由于干涉等原因无法保证激光束垂直入射时 ,为得到好的切割质量应采取的措施
