This paper deals with the dynamic model of the outer shell of the Earth under the influence of polar shift. For stress analysis we have adopted the membrane theory of spherical shells. For the effect of fluid core it is assumed that the fluid is incompressible and the outer shell deforms so that the volume within it remains constant. From analysis it seems likely that the existing systems of the tectonic plate boundaries are related with the polar shift.

In this paper, the diurnal resonance in observation of linear tides due to the movement of the fluid core of the earth is discussed and this has been oberved by means of the ORBES-81 high precision quartz extensometer at Huangshi. Moreover, the method and the working formulas to verify the diurnal resonance using the observation of linear strain tides are presented.

本文讨论了线应变固体湖观测中由于液态地核的运动产生的周日波共振现象,给出了检验这种现象的方法及必要的工作公式,并用黄石台ORBES—81型高精度石英伸缩仪的观测结果对周日波的共振现象作了检验。
