We select five different microporous polypropylene membranes used in CR 2/3A type spiral Li-MnO2 batteries and conduct a series of electrical performance tests and safety test. The results show that,the resistances of 1# ,3* separators are too high to bear high current discharge. The performances of the batteries with 2# ,4#* ,and 5# separators are close. Considering the price factor,we think 4# separator is the best. Meanwhile,the employ of PTC as a circuit overcurrent protector improves the safety of batteries.
