The industry reagents of dipentaerythritol and tripentaerythritol were purified by recrystallization in water or by extracting several times with boiling water respectively. The melting point of purified tripentaerythritol was 229.9℃, determined by DSC. Using thermal analysis method, we obtained thermal analysis curves and the binary phase diagram of dipentaerythritol and tripentaerythritol, being simple eutectic system.
