In this study, a new polymeric membrane material-propene/1-octene copolymers (P-co-Os) were synthesized by means of slurry polymerization process under atmospheric pressure using Ziegler-Natta catalyst (MgCl2/TiCl4/AlEt3).
      


The quantitative relationships between LLDPE properties and copolymerization parameters were studeid by multiple regression and fractional factorial experimental design methods. It was shown that LLDPE with medium densitiy and melt index (D≥0.925g/cm~3, MI≤10g/10min) can be produced by slurry polymerization process using hexane as solvent in HDPE plants.

A simple and effective method for purifying propylene and the technical key for improving product quality have been found. The isotactic index was raised from 90% to 96—98%. Metzner-Otto method was used to measure the Theological properties of polymer particle-water suspensions, especially for aqueous slurry polymerization of acrylonitrile. Metzner-Otto method was used to measure the Theological properties of polymer particle-water suspensions, especially for aqueous slurry polymerization of acrylonitrile. This method overcame the difficulty of particle settling in conventional measurement. Several main factors affecting rheological behaviors of suspensions were investigated. The rheological properties of the suspensions investigated depend strongly on particle shape, particle surface morphology, particle aggregation, particle size and particle size distribution. The relationship between relative viscosity and concentration shows a good agreement with Landel model and Quemada model. The suspension of PAN-water behaves as pseudoplastic when solid volume fraction is above 0.2. The relation between shear stress and shear rate can be represented by Casson equation. This research work provides evidences for the engineering design and production control of aqueous slurry polymerization of acrylonitrile and gives a reference to other suspensions.

应用搅拌法测定了聚合物粒子—水悬浮体系的流变特性,探讨了固相浓度、粒径、粒径分布、颗粒表面形态、pH值、剪切速率等因素的影响。对5个常用的相对粘度与固相体积分率的关联式作了验证,结果表明:Landel模型和Quemada模型有较好的关联精度。在较高浓度下的悬浮液为非牛顿流体,剪切应力和剪切速率的关系很好地符合Casson方程。
