The results of two years' tests indicates that, the influence of auxin G B is the most remarkable one between them on the growth promoting and yield increase of alfalfa. When the leaves of alfalfa were treated once by spraying G B solution at the beginning of the branching stage of alfalfa stubbles In different years, the yield increase of alfalfa recorded 12.8~22.4%; while they were treate twice (with a 10—day interval )the yield increase marked 20.8~34.1%. In 1990, at the pilot plots of 110 mu of alfalfa, Ninghe county, Tianjin, the average yield increase noted 220.5kg/mu. The yield increase shows 22.9~47.8% more than that of the control.

In the second and the third months, the author took out or decreased the amound of some materials from the self-made additive in order to lower the cost. As a result, the effect was much reduced. The author opines that if one wants to raise the benefit of breeding pigs, he must abopt the unified measure, especially take the road of breeding pigs according to ecology.
