Crack deformation and propagation is investigated preliminary under convective combustion condition. Experimental research reveals various propagation patterns of single crack under various chamber pressure rates. It was often pointed out in literatures that DDT may be induced by discontinuous flame spreading in cracks, abrupt pressurization at crack tip and unstable crack propagation under convective combustion.
Three coals with different sulfur contents were selected,the status of sulfide formation under standard atmosphere,temperature of 400 2000 K and different excess air coefficient was studied by chemical thermal equilibrium analysis. The results attempted to indicate the effects of sulfur content and combustion condition on the rule of sulfide formation under typical coal combustion condition.
