Based on the theory of non-linear vibration and conception of uni-molecular reaction, we suggest in this article a physical model to describe the phenomena of instantaneous dissociation of polyatomic molecules interacting with an intense ir laser field. It is shown that there exists close and internal relationship between the dissociation threshold usually observed and the "jumping" processes occured inherently in nonlinear vibration. Good quantitative agreement between theoretical results and experimental observations is found.

If the reflecting mirrors being used, their effect will be higher and their cost will be lower as well. The concave mirrors are no better than the convex ones. But after the laser beams are rferacted over 90° by the reflecting mirrors with monocur monocurvature sphere as general, the round light spots will transform into the elliptical ones, and the arrangement of energy will not be uniform.It is shown by proving and testing that the abovementioned shortcomings can be overcome by using the reflecting mirrors with bilateral curvature ellipsoid. The mirrors can be made according to both of the radiuses of the curvature on the two cross -section that one is normal to another, being in proportion as 1: 2~(1/2) . Thus afterscat-tering, the laser beams arc refracted over 90°, and can be kept round.

用CO_2红外激光治疗多种皮肤病症,疗效显著。但激光器发出的高强度激光束必须经过扩散才能达到治疗的要求。采用锗单晶透镜,能量损耗多,镜片材料价格昂贵,且难于加工。采用反射镜,效率高,成本低。凹面反射镜又不如凸面反射镜好。但一般的单曲率球面反射镜在将激光束折过90°角反射后,圆形光斑被畸变成椭圆形,能量分布极不均匀。经推证及试验表明,采用双曲率椭球面反射镜,可以克服上述缺点。镜片的两个互相垂直的截面上曲率之比按1:2左右制作,可使折过90°角反射的激光束在扩散后仍保持圆形。
