The ways of overcoming "glazing formation" : First wo cut down the wear-resistance of matrix to assist diamond exposing out of the cutting face of the bit, and then change the shape of bit. crown in order to increase the specific pressure and the free cutting of rock in drilling process. The results of the testing of thirty-nine bits used in various drilling teams in different provinces, show that the scientific researches on above mentioned bits arc reasonable and satisfactory.

本文阐述了电镀金刚石孕镶钻头的研制方法和原理。此种钻头适用于坚硬、致密、弱研磨性(即所谓打滑)地层的钻进。攻克“打滑地层”的途径是:(1)降低钻头胎体耐磨性,促使金刚石出刃;(2)改变钻头底唇形状,提高金刚石破碎岩石的比压,增多孔底破碎岩石的自由面,使之易于破碎岩石。从4个钻探队、39个钻头的生产试验结果来看,上述研制工作既合理又有成效。

To study on the wear mechanism of drilling bits in drilling complex strata of south coalfields,wehave developed a kind of wireline core drilling bit adaptable to the complex strata.At the same time,we have tak-en an efficient test on keeping the inside and outside diameter size of electroplated diamond bits.This kind ofdrilling bit has obtained evident drilling effect in different types of strata in the complex coalfield.

研究了南方煤矿区复杂地层钻进中钻头的磨损机理,研制出了适合于复杂地层钻进的绳索取芯钻头。探讨了电镀钻头内、外径的保径方法。试验钻头在复杂煤矿区不同类型的地层中均取得了显著的钻进效果。

A new type of electroplated diamond bits is developed and produced by adopting.composite electroplating technology. In the process, electroplating Ni - Co - diamond powder composite coatings are produced by adding diamond powder as dispersion phase (concentration 10g/1), into the electroplating solution. These Coatings improve the wear resistance oi the matrix. The bits are available in two diamond grades and three steps of grain sizes to extend the range of use and increase the self-sharpness. The entire diamond matrix is worn away almost in the same step by adjusting the proportion of coating thickness among inner diameter, outer diameter and height of matrix . The bits are tested and used at a hydropower station . The results show that such bits are suitable for drilling in the broken hard rock and very abrasive formation.

本文采用复合电镀新工艺来研制和生产金刚石钻头。在研制过程中,往普通钻头镀液中加入10g/l金刚石微粉,得到镍—钻—金刚石微粉复合镀层,提高了钻头胎体的耐磨性。将两种品级、三种粒度金刚石按一定比例混合使用,扩大了钻头的适用范围,提高了钻头的自锐性。通过改变内、外径和底唇面镀层厚度的比例,做到镀层基本同步消耗完。一年多来的工地现场使用结果证明,这种钻头适用于坚硬、强研磨性地层的钻进,具有时效快、寿命长的优点。
