The experimental results show that in alkaline medium, ferrous cysteine solution absorbs NO to form nitrosyl ferrous chelates, and the cysteine (CySH) is oxidized into cystine (CySSCy), and the absorped of NO is reduced to yield N 2. CySSCy can be converted back to CySH by SO 2 in flue gas, thus making possible the recycling of the reactions of removal of SO 2 and NO X with cysteine solution.
The study process of technology of absorption of NO in aqueous ferrous chelates solutions in recent years is presented in the paper, and the reaction mechanism, kinetics, the regeneration of absorbent, and the main problems of the processes are put forwarded in detail.
Simultaneous removal of SO 2 and NO X with regenerable ferrous cysteine solution was investigated in a jet bubbling reactor. The experimental results show that in alkaline medium, ferrous cysteine solution absorbs NO to form nitrosyl ferrous chelates, and the cysteine (CySH) is oxidized into cystine (CySSCy), and the absorped of NO is reduced to yield N 2. CySSCy can be converted back to CySH by SO 2 in flue gas, thus making possible the recycling of the reactions of removal ...
The research results about removal NO x from flue gas with aqueous solution of ferrous chelates in last more than 20 years are reviewed in this paper. The reaction mechanism, kinetics, impact factors, and the regeneration of absorption solutions accompanying the processes of individual and simultaneous removal of NO x and SO 2 with ferrous aminopoly carboxylic chelate and ferrous thiochelate solutions are presented in detail. The main problems of the processes are pointe...
A novel recovery process for removal of NO_x from flue gas with the sequence of absorption with acid following the complex in aqueous solutions of ferrous chelates and reduction with iron powder is proposed. The constituents of gas and liquid phases after NO_x removal are analyzed, and the reaction mechanism of the NO_x removal is investigated emphatically. The results show that there is no N_2O formed in the exhaust and no NO~-_2 and NO~-_3 ion formed in the denitrification liquid. All of the N...
