By using the flexible AC transmission system (FACTS) technique, the power flow of power system can be controlled directly and fexibly, so the potentialities of the exiting transmission lines can be fully exploited. The mathematical models of FACTS elements used for power flow control are mainly studied. Furthermore, a versatile software package for power flow calculation of FACTS is developed and some examples solved by this package are given.

灵活交流输电系统(FACTS)是电力系统领域的前沿技术之一,利用它可实现对电力系统潮流的灵活控制,从而充分发挥现有电力系统的潜力。本文基于各种FACTS装置的稳态模型,从理论上分析了各种FACTS装置的潮流控制能力,并导出求解潮流控制域的方法。理论分析同潮流计算结果的比较表明:FACTS装置的潮流控制能力不仅取决于装置的类型,而且还同线路的初始自然功率分布相关。
