By means of the physical model, mathematical model, the analysis of the field measured data and the applying of the remote-sense technique, we have conducted the research and the demonstration toward the planning of Modaomen outlet of the Pearl River Estuary, and thus determined a reasonable one which would be relatively effective to the flood controll, drainage, irrigation and navigation.Because the Modaomen outlet is vast in area, and there are many inland sea estuaries, waterways and the meeting...

By means of the physical model, mathematical model, the analysis of the field measured data and the applying of the remote-sense technique, we have conducted the research and the demonstration toward the planning of Modaomen outlet of the Pearl River Estuary, and thus determined a reasonable one which would be relatively effective to the flood controll, drainage, irrigation and navigation.Because the Modaomen outlet is vast in area, and there are many inland sea estuaries, waterways and the meeting points of the tidal, the motions of the flow, tide and sediment are quite complicated. So the training engineering might be huge in scale and complex in technique. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct the research with multi-methods and it practically turns to be feasible.The results obtained both by the physical model and mathematical model do basically coincide with each other. The estuary regulations worked out by the analysis of the measured data also agree with the result on the scouring and silting of the estuary analysed by the remote-sense technique. They indicate that the project chosen in following our planning principle to give judicious guidance according to circumstances. They also indicate that the effects to the flood control won't be so heavy after the construction of the engineerings and there won't be unb-enefit against the drainage, irrigation and navigation.

In this time, we choise a section which is 407km long and 18916km2 in Hebei to have success- fully done the analysis of remote sensing on hydrological engineering geology.

According to the analysis,explaination and field verification of thedigital image precessing results of satellite remote sense data in two subdistriets of Yuxian Coalfield,not only some new opinions are given on the geological structure having been found out long ago,but also a few faults have peen discovered newly. Especially,the existence of Huliuhe fault blinded bencath Quaternary System is proved.

通过对蔚县煤田的两个子区的卫星遥感图象的多种方案数字图象处理结果的分析、解译和野外验证,不仅对煤田区内已查明的地质构造提出了一些新的见解,而且还发现了几条断裂构造,尤其是确定了隐伏于第四系之下的壶流河断层的存在。
