When the converter, used for HVDC transmission, is connected to a weak a.c. power system, the filters and static condensers on its a.c. side also supply a considerable amount of additional commutating current, which is usually neglected in the case of converter connecting to strong power system. Taking into account the effect of this additional commutating current, the commutation process is accelerated, so that in the performance analysis of converters connected to weak system this effect must be considered....

When the converter, used for HVDC transmission, is connected to a weak a.c. power system, the filters and static condensers on its a.c. side also supply a considerable amount of additional commutating current, which is usually neglected in the case of converter connecting to strong power system. Taking into account the effect of this additional commutating current, the commutation process is accelerated, so that in the performance analysis of converters connected to weak system this effect must be considered. In this paper the experimental results obtained on a physical model are presented. The results are analysed in detail. By comparison of the analytical and experimental results, it is revealed that the method here proposed for calculating the performance of the conveterts connected to a weak power system is satisfactory for general design work.

当直流输电的换流器接在弱交流系统运行时,其交流侧的调谐滤波器和无功补偿静电电容器也会提供一部份为数不小的换相电流。但是在换流器运行于强系统情况下这个换相电流分量通常小到可以忽略不计。由于这部份换相电流的作用加速了接于弱系统换流器的换相过程,并使换相角减小。因此在分析和计算它的工况时,如果仍沿用接于强系统的计算方法,而不考虑这部份电流的作用势必引起很大的差错,为了探讨滤波器和静电电容器参与换相过程的作用,在进行原理分析的同时,还利用直流输电动态摸拟系统做了一系列试验。根据分析和试验结果提出了的接于弱系统换流器工况简化计算方法,可用于一般设计计算。

The equations directly describe currents and voltages relation between sending and receiving end of the DC transmission line. These equations are then expressed in node admittance matrix form which can be conveniently applied to the analysis and calculation of all steady state operating conditions in AC/DC power systems. In addition, the equations used to determine voltage and current propagation along the DC line are also given in the paper.

An accurate method of calculating uncharacteristic harmonics in HVDC transmission systems is proposed in the paper. The method is useful in studies on the properties of uncharateristic harmonies, the influence of unsymmetric ac-side voltages on the operation of HVDC transmission system and the design of filters. An accurate method of calculating uncharacteristic harmonics in HVDC transmission systems is proposed in the paper. The method is useful in studies on the properties of uncharateristic harmonies, the influence of unsymmetric ac-side voltages on the operation of HVDC transmission system and the design of filters. The results of the study show that uncharacteristic harmonics caused by ac-side unsymmetric voltage are comparable with characteristic har- monics, the parameter of dc filter reactor has significant influence on the uncharacteristic harmonics and unsymmetric receiving end ac voltage may worsen the operating condition of inverters. As a special case, the proposed method can also be used in the calculation and investigation of characteristic harmonics.

本文首次提出了一种对于直流输电系统非特征谐波的准确计算方法,它可以用于研究非特征谐波的特性,交流侧电压不对称对于直流输电系统运行的影响以及滤波器的设计等。研究结果表明,由交流侧电压不对称所引起的非特征谐波,其大小可以与特征谐波相比拟,直流滤波电抗器的参数对非特征谐波有较显著的影响,受端交流电压的不对称使逆变器的工况恶化等。作为其特例,本文提出的方法,同样可以用于对特征谐波的计算和研究。
