The results of multi-factor-and-multi-level experiments showed that the concentration changing of glucose, sodium nitrate and pH affected the carotenoids yield remarkably and the sample of A3B3C1 containing 3 g/L of glucose and 1.5 g/L of sodium nitrate,pH 6.0 was the best among all samples, and its output of carotenoids reached 2.318 mg/g.
Each one of the twelve tested men absorbed 500 mg L-proline and 300 mg sodium nitrate, after that, the average quantity of N-nitroso-proline in their urine was 75.10nmol. However, when absorbing L-proline and sodium nitrate, they absorbed again ascorbic acid and Phyllanthus emblica L. juice of the same concentration with ascorbic acid separately. The content of NPRO in their urine was down to 41.08nmol and 20.79nmol respectively.
The content of NPRO of the latter is lower than background number (25.55 nmol). It indicated that if a man absorbed 13ml Phyllanthus emblica L. juice containing 75 mg ascorbic acid in this experiment, the synthesis of NPRO, which was formed by absorbing 500 mg L-proline and 300 mg sodium nitrate in human body could be blocked.
Determination of flurine and iodine in a Single solution of human hair samples with ionselective electrodes has been investigated. It was found that a buffer system of 1.0 mol/L sodium citrate-1.0 mol/L sodium nitrate at pH 5.5 was the best for this method.
amine sal ts and urea were unfavourable to form sclerotia The medium containing 0 24 ~ 0 48 g/L sodium nitrate nitrogen was effective to both the sclerotia formation and the carotenoid production of strain PT95 when available maltose carbon con centrations were at 5 26~21 05 g/L The optimal C/N ratio was found to be 25 ∶1
The sol coagulation thresholds are determined in the presence of sodium nitrate and sulfate, as well as of mixed magnesium salt at various pH values of the dispersion medium.
New nanocomposites based on zeolites (NaA-NaNO2, NaA-NaNO3) and opals (o-NaNO2, o-NaNO3) that contain sodium nitrite or sodium nitrate nanoparticles in cages of regular porous matrices are prepared.
The paper deals with the blocking effect of Phyllanthus emblica L. on the formation of N-nitroso-compound in human body. Ohshima's method was used to measure the quantity of N-nitroso-proline (NPRO) in urine as an index. Each one of the twelve tested men absorbed 500 mg L-proline and 300 mg sodium nitrate, after that, the average quantity of N-nitroso-proline in their urine was 75.10nmol. However, when absorbing L-proline and sodium nitrate, they absorbed again ascorbic acid and Phyl...
Determination of flurine and iodine in a Single solution of human hair samples with ionselective electrodes has been investigated. It was found that a buffer system of 1.0 mol/L sodium citrate-1.0 mol/L sodium nitrate at pH 5.5 was the best for this method. At lower concentrations, the accuracy, precision and limit of detection of the method can be much improved by using a program of cubic spline interpolation for the non-linear portion of the calibration curve.
Tetrathiomolybdate has been described as a causative agent of secondary copper deficiency in ruminants It has since been used in the treatment of Wilsons disease In this study, tetrathiomolybdate was examined for its effect on the function of isolated cells and mitochondria from small intestinal epithelia For the in vitro studies, isolated epithelial cells and purified mitochondria were prepared and respiratory activities were measured Results...
