Because of the requirement of classified skill training, spoken language class should aim at developing students' oral communication ability. According to the Student centred teaching method, students should be given more practice time. In order to achieve the goal, the present paper makes some ponderations upon compiling language materials. It consists of 3 aspects: In selecting the materials, we should distinguish between the “listened to” and the “spoken”, choose the most useful sentences and paragraphs...

According to the Student centred teaching method, students should be given more practice time. In order to achieve the goal, the present paper makes some ponderations upon compiling language materials. It consists of 3 aspects: In selecting the materials, we should distinguish between the “listened to” and the “spoken”, choose the most useful sentences and paragraphs with the characteristics of spoken language,and transfer the focal points from grammar rules to communicative information. In compiling the language materials, we may appropriately break the rigid lines among new words, texts, notes and exercises. Conversations and monologues should be more but short. Besides these, this paper also ponders deeply on compiling situation centred texts,and we conclud that the speech acts,should be distinguished,which have different relations to situation,and that we should pay attention to the interaction which is exchange of information, and supply a “typical” context for language point teaching. In the end, this paper analyses the necessity of distinguishing between a teacher's book and a student's book.

本文从怎样为以交际为中心的教学法提供便利的角度出发 ,对对外汉语初级口语教材的语料编写做了一些思考。教材在语料选择方面 ,要区别“所听”与“所说” ,选择学生最需要的符合口语特点的句子和语段 ,把重点从注重语法规则转移到关注交际信息上来 ;在语料编排方面 ,课文的会话、独白段落不宜长 ,不厌多 ,可以适当打破生词、课文、注释、练习的严格界限。文章还对以情景为中心编排课文进行更深的思考 ,认为应当区别与情景关系不同的言语交往行为 ,注意属于交换信息的环境非受定言语活动 ,为语言点教学提供典型语境。文章最后从教学法角度分析了区别教师用书和学生用书的必要性。

Making English speeches is an important way to foster college students' oral communication ability. To foster the students' ability of making English speech means to stress on the training of their comprehensive language ability, their psychological adaptability, their logical thinking ability and their non-verbal communication ability. Making English speeches can improve college students' comprehensive qualities so that they are qualified in the inter cultural communication....
